What is it?

In cooking, the degree of steak roasting always remains constant, but how to determine in time which of them is achieved? To solve this problem, the German company SteakChamp developed a unique invention: a smart thermometer for steaks The Ultimate Steak Thermometer.



Design

The Ultimate Steak Thermometer stands out clearly from the crowd of similar gadgets, not only due to technical characteristics, but also the design itself. Like a nail 8 cm long, the thermometer has a sharp tip and a hat with a light curator. The indicator informs about the degree of roasting of the steak, and, depending on it, it is lit with three colors: green, yellow, red. The Ultimate Steak Thermometer is a stainless steel with the ability to withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celsius. Temperature sensors are located on the end of the thermometer.

How it works?

The thermometer itself is located on a special activator stand. Before use, the thermometer must be activated by setting it for a couple of seconds in a special stand of red color. Then the thermometer, as usual, should be inserted into the meat, and you can start cooking steak.

After activation, The Ultimate Steak Thermometer will flash every 8 seconds. During cooking, when the steak is close to the desired degree of roasting, the thermometer will report this with a flash of a light bulb. If the meat has reached the desired degree of roasting, a double flashing signal will light up on the device. The color of the signal changes depending on the degree of frying of the steak: green - medium rare (MR); yellow - medium (MED); red - medium well (MW). Fans of steaks rareĀ® should stop the frying before the indicator flashes twice green.

Due to the length of the thermometer, the degree of roasting is measured not on a separate part of the steak, but over its entire length. As soon as you prepare yourself, the thermometer must be removed using the same podstvkoj. The Ultimate Steak Thermometer can also be used for frying other types of meat and fish.
